What You'll Do This is a front-line sales role with broad responsibility -- you'll be the face of Ryder's rental operation in your market. Your day-to-day will span: Sales and Marketing Own the full sales process for inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting Execute your business unit's marketing plan and maintain accurate customer data Maximize rate opportunities and generate leads for rental, lease, and used vehicle sales Build and expand relationships with an existing customer base while actively developing new ones Coordinate inventory levels to meet customer demand and drive market share Operations and Asset Management Take ownership of the profitability, operations, and asset management of your rental location Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations Develop deep knowledge of your local market to maximize fleet utilization Customer Experience Drive profitable revenue growth through strong, ongoing customer relationships Serve as the point of contact for internal and external customer satisfaction Resolve customer concerns and disputes quickly and professionally What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required At least 1 year of sales experience High energy, self-motivated, and goal-oriented -- you take initiative without being told Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional presence with the ability to build relationships at all levels Solid customer service instincts and the ability to stay composed under pressure What You'll Gain A visible role with direct impact on your location's revenue and performance Cross-functional exposure across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management The backing of a Fortune 500 company with deep resources and a strong brand Career growth pathways within one of the largest fleet management and logistics companies in North America Qualifications H.S. diploma/GED required One (1) year or more sales experience required DOT Regulated No Job Category Sales Support Compensation Information: The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
