You plan your route, check weather and traffic conditions, and hit the road. Over the course of 10 to 11 hours of driving, you cover several hundred miles, managing fuel stops and rest breaks within your Hours of Service limits. Communication with dispatch keeps your schedule on track, and at the end of the day you find a truck stop, log your hours, and rest up for tomorrow.
