Job Description

Class A CDL Driver Training & Career Opportunity You worked hard to earn your Class A CDL license. You studied, attended an academy, and passed the DMV requirements. Now you may have discovered that many carriers won’t give you a chance without at least one year of OTR experience. We will. Training & Pay We offer a 30-day, hands-on OTR training program that will prepare you to become a safe, professional driver. During this time, you’ll travel across the country with one of our experienced trainers, gaining valuable OTR experience. No home time during training. Training pay: $650 weekly salary After training: 2–5 days off to recharge before being assigned your own truck Earnings & Opportunities Once you’re in your own truck, you can expect to earn $1,200–$1,600 per week on average, depending on the runs you choose. We offer OTR, regional, and—in some major cities—local positions. Don't count on local positions when you first start. After completing training, you’ll be promoted to experienced driver status, opening the door to higher-paying dedicated, regional, and OTR runs. Why Work With Us? A Day in the Life

A typical day as an OTR driver begins before sunrise with a walk-around pre-trip inspection of your truck and trailer. You plan your route, check weather and traffic conditions, and hit the road. Over the course of 10 to 11 hours of driving, you cover several hundred miles, managing fuel stops and rest breaks within your Hours of Service limits. Communication with dispatch keeps your schedule on track, and at the end of the day you find a truck stop, log your hours, and rest up for tomorrow.
