CDL Class A home weekly driving jobs, driver unloads freight using roller conveyors., Overhaul Carriers Ltd. Experience Drivers: Over the Road or Regional experience. Account: $1660 to $2100 per week. Home Weekly: 5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: 75% of freight delivers in TX and OK and the other 25% in surrounding states (Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi). Load: 3 loads per week and 3 stops average. Duties: Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time. Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers. Requirements: Valid CDL Class A license. Clean motor vehicle record and background checks. Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test). Moving Violation: No more 3 in the last 3 years. No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years. No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years. Terminations: Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify. Felonies and Misdemeanors: Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed. Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date. DUI/DWI: No DUI’s in a Commercial vehicle ever. No more than 2 DUI’s in a lifetime. No DUI’s within the past 5 years. A Day in the Life

A typical day as an OTR driver begins before sunrise with a walk-around pre-trip inspection of your truck and trailer. You plan your route, check weather and traffic conditions, and hit the road. Over the course of 10 to 11 hours of driving, you cover several hundred miles, managing fuel stops and rest breaks within your Hours of Service limits. Communication with dispatch keeps your schedule on track, and at the end of the day you find a truck stop, log your hours, and rest up for tomorrow.
