About the Job
We are an American-owned and operated small family business. We run late model Freightliner Cascadia trucks and good newer trailers so you won't be sitting waiting for repairs. Run all lower 48, you can park near home. Pay is W2.
Short hauls pay % so that you’re always making over a minimum daily rate.
Pay is on real GPS miles not zip code to zip code, which means the real paycheck is higher than at companies who offer what looks like a higher per-mile but cut out most of the real miles you drive.

OTR trucking involves long-haul routes that cross multiple states, often keeping drivers on the road for two to three weeks at a time before returning home. These positions are ideal for drivers who enjoy travel and independence, and they typically offer the highest pay in the industry. OTR drivers are the backbone of America's freight system, moving goods coast to coast on tight schedules.
A typical day as an OTR flatbed driver starts with inspecting your truck and checking your load securement — chains, straps, and tarps all need to be in place before you roll. You may deliver steel coils to a fabrication shop in the morning, then deadhead to a lumber yard for your next pickup. Tarping and strapping loads is physically demanding work, but flatbed drivers take pride in the skill it requires. After a full driving shift you log your hours and find a safe place to park for the night.

−Weeks away from home and family at a time
−Irregular sleep schedules and limited exercise options
−Truck stop meals can make healthy eating challenging

−Limited personal space living in a sleeper cab
About Flatbed Trucks
Flatbed trailers have an open deck with no sides or roof, making them ideal for oversized cargo like lumber, steel, machinery, and building materials. Flatbed drivers must know how to tarp and secure loads using chains, straps, and binders, which is a specialized skill set that commands premium pay. The work is more physically demanding but highly rewarding for drivers who prefer hands-on tasks.
This position pays $65,000 - $104,000/yr. Actual pay may vary based on experience, endorsements, and miles driven.
What CDL class do I need for this job?
This position requires a CDL Class A license. Class A allows you to operate combination vehicles over 26,001 lbs GVWR.
What is the trucking job market like in Kentucky?
