OTR Flatbed - Contract Driver (1099) - Based out of Texas ❮ back to last search 1 Universal Trucking LLC Fayetteville, Arkansas 2300-2600 USD per week Full time Apply for this job About the Company We are a growing company based out of Texas. - We consider driver preference regarding where driver goes - Extremely flexible with family time - Performance bonuses - Percentage pay increases after probation (3 months) - Dedicated lanes available About the Job Our flatbed drivers will have some chaining and strapping involved. 40-50% tarping. We will fly the driver out to our location in Texas for orientation and cover all costs incl accommodation. We also have reefer & curtain van work available. Job Summary Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Flatbed trailer OTR $2,300 - $2,600 gross total weekly avg. pay 2,000 - 3,000 avg. miles per week Line Haul, LTL No Driver Load/Unload 50% tarping Home Time 14 - 21 expected days out You can stay out longer if you want to Get 3 days of home time for every 14 days worked Home at least one weekend per month Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment. Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
