A Day in the Life

A typical day as an OTR driver begins before sunrise with a walk-around pre-trip inspection of your truck and trailer. You plan your route, check weather and traffic conditions, and hit the road. Over the course of 10 to 11 hours of driving, you cover several hundred miles, managing fuel stops and rest breaks within your Hours of Service limits.
