You'll have predictable and consistent home time with a set schedule in our national Van 7/7 HOMEtime PLUS (https://www.roehl.jobs/Driving-Jobs/Resources/hometime\_plus) fleet. This fleet offers a 7 days driving schedule followed by 7 days off. **The pay for this fleet is based on getting paid for working every other week - 26 weeks per year.** **Drivers on this fleet average between $19,370 and $40,820 per year working every other week.** In this over the road Dry Van Fleet, you'll haul largely no-touch freight across 48 states and Canada. Roehl's HOMEtime PLUS fleets are like part-time trucking jobs - perfect for so many reasons. If you're looking for a dependable schedule driving roughly half the year, the Van 7/7 HOMEtime PLUS fleet is for you. The trucks in this fleet are non-smoking. **Responsibilities** + Operate truck to transport goods to designated locations. + Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. + Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. + Follow traffic laws and regulations. **Qualifications** + Knowledge of safety regulations. + This is a Class A CDL truck driving job.On-the-job training may be available. **Summary** + As a Class A CDL truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods using a truck, making on-time deliveries. + Roehl Transport is one of North America's safest trucking companies as recognized by the American Trucking Associations (ATA). + Roehl Transport is a 5-time recipient of the ATA's President's Award, the trucking industry's highest safety honor. A Day in the Life
A typical day as an OTR dry van driver starts early with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your tractor and enclosed trailer. You hit the interstate and cover 450 to 550 miles, stopping for fuel, meals, and mandated 30-minute breaks. Much of your day is spent on the open highway, managing your Hours of Service log and communicating with dispatch about your next load. At the end of your shift you park at a truck stop or rest area, settle into the sleeper berth, and prepare for another day on the road.
