Driving OTR can take you coast-to-coast with a wide variety of load options and high earning potential. Top 25% of OTR drivers at the Phoenix terminal average $1700 weekly Drivers can earn trip pay based on a calculation of dispatched miles that ranges from $.43 to $.58 cpm depending on route and verifiable experience Home monthly Weekly paychecks Over 30 terminals in 25 states Great benefits package Career growth Hometime: Monthly Skills: Exceptional backing Responsibilities: Possible holiday work #HP Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license. No DUI within 10 years if CDL-A holder, none within 5 years if Non CDL-A holder. No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years. No more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years. No serious traffic violations in the past year. A Day in the Life

A typical day as an OTR dry van driver starts early with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your tractor and enclosed trailer. You hit the interstate and cover 450 to 550 miles, stopping for fuel, meals, and mandated 30-minute breaks. Much of your day is spent on the open highway, managing your Hours of Service log and communicating with dispatch about your next load. At the end of your shift you park at a truck stop or rest area, settle into the sleeper berth, and prepare for another day on the road.
