About the Job Southland has regional CDL-A truck driver runs in the West region that get you home weekly! Family owned and operated, when you drive for Southland you are family! Job Summary Owner Operator Refrigerated and Dry Van OTR $2,000 - $6,000 gross total weekly avg. pay. Paid weekly. 2,800 - 3,200 avg. miles per week Paid fuel surcharge Base plate discounts available Dedicated, Line Haul No Driver Load/Unload Home Time 5 expected days out No guaranteed weekends home Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules. Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
