About the Role: Circular Services is looking for a Class A CDL driver operating primarily tractor trailers. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and take driver responsibility very seriously. There is growth potential with this position. Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff Forklift operations are required Designated daily delivery/pick up route assignment(s). Minimum Job Qualifications: A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License Must be 21 years of age At least three (3) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry. Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records Strong customer service skills Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers Other Duties: All job requirements in this job description provided indicate the minimum level of knowledge, skills, and/abilities deemed necessary to perform the job competently.
